Best School Books You've Ever Read

To Kill a Mockingbird. Only book I really read start to finish. I was done before the class got to chapter 12.

the great Gatsby
paper towns
looking for Alaska
Antigone
war nd peace

The Fault in our Stars by John Green
would highly recommend it

Great Gatsby-Highly Recommended
1984
Profiles in Courage

Jealous of all you that got to read John Green with school! The most modern book we’ve read was An Inspector Calls.

We read 19 Minutes by Jodi Picoult the summer going into my junior year. It was about a teenager that was severely bullied and came in a shot up the school in 19 minutes. The story takes you back into his whole childhood and high school experience and all of the bullying he endured. It’s so relatable and moving. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an interesting read!

To Kill A Mockingbird
Life of Pi

Little Bee
Middlemarch
Catcher in the Rye
Random Family
They cage the animals at night( in 6th grade)
Night

Oedipus the King is its English name so…

I didn’t like that part either.

My favorite “school books” I have actually read on my own, but they’re known as being high school reading material.
As far as books we’ve actually read, I enjoyed Lord of the Flies and Catcher in the Rye. I thought I’d like 1984, and it was okay until there were those 30 straight pages of Goldstein’s book. God, I haven’t had to push through a book like that since Huck Finn.

I loved The Great Gatsby, The Scarlet Letter, Jane Eyre, and Life of Pi.

I liked Fahrenheit 451

Catcher in the Rye
Canterbury Tales
Hamlet
… then again, maybe it’s just because my teacher’s awesome.

To Kill and Mockingbird and The Catcher in the Rye are my favorites. Two of the only books that didn’t feel like doing homework when I read them for school.

Great Gatsby was probably my favorite, but Catcher in the Rye, Night, and Lord of the Flies are a few of my other favorites.

Worst was probably Antigone. Seriously the whole thing is about a stupid burial

One of my favorites is probably The Good Earth.
I really like To Kill a Mockingbird, though.

Uhhhh the outsiders anyone

The Book Thief and Life of Pi, sophomore and freshman year respectively. I liked Catcher in the Rye and Anthem (summer before junior, sophomore).

I also loved The Outsiders in 8th grade.

7th grade: Swallowing stones
8th grade: The outsiders
9th grade: World according to garp(summer before 9th)
10th: Great Gatsby, even though it was a little short for me

I just read The Importance of Being Earnest in my english class. I think that’s now on my list of favorites!
