The Great Gatsby for me.

What about everyone else?

The Great Gatsby for me.

What about everyone else?

Jane Eyre, followed by Emma.

John Dies at the End. The Great Gatsby was pretty good, I’ll agree with you there.

Lolita or A Separate Peace.

Since Sophomore year I’ve been slightly ashamed that I hated The Great Gatsby. I’m not even sure why, but I couldn’t find a relatable character in the whole thing. And yeah it’s supposed to be about the 1920s and alienation etc. etc. but…it never clicked for me.

My personal favorite I just finished a few weeks ago, Infinite Jest.

Atlas Shrugged - by far my favorite

Pride and prejudice and zombies :)

Great Gatsby was my favorite this year, which is surprising because I absolutely hated all of the characters.

The catcher in the rye.

It’s hard to choose just one, but I would have to say A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. It’s not the most academic of my top favorite books, but I have always loved it.

This book (by Charlotte Bronte) has been my all time favorite since 6th grade when I first read it. I love that book but now I just read textbooks.

Lord of the Rings - JRR Tolkien

I guess Johnathan Strange and Mr. Norrell is good too. (Susanna Clarke)

Can anyone guess my favorite genre? =P

i dont have one i love all good book equally but my fave on recently is angels and demons last really good one i read

Atlas Shrugged <3

I actually just finished reading it like a week ago. I love Austen, and everybody told me that the Bronte sisters were better. I was stubborn, and refused to read any of their works. I ended up reading Jane Eyre, and it topped Emma, by favourite Austen book.

Textbooks? Really? I don’t find them uh, interesting enough to actually open one and read it for fun. I always read ahead of my biology reading assigned daily, but thats about it. =)

13 Reasons Why or The Perks of Being a Wallflower

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time by Mark Haddon

The Memory of Running by Ron McLarty

read them!

Steinbeck’s East of Eden. It was a challenging read, but every single one of its ~1000 pages was well worth it.

Funny in Farsi and Laughing Without an Accent, both by Firoozeh Dumas.

They are both really well written books, go read them.

i’ve read the children’s version of jane eyre. it was pretty good.
