drax, again, Harvard, Yale and Stanford law school graduates represent 11% of Vinson & Elkins’ 750 attorneys, mostly based in the State of Texas. Vinson & Elkins, based out of Houston, is considered the top law firm in Texas. This compares to 29% for Univ. of Texas Law School.

I continue to state that:

"UT Law is ranked a respectable #15 in the country, but if you want to practice law in Texas, I would imagine that only Harvard, Yale and Stanford Law Schools would be preferable "

Actually my level of education is a magnitude above your state school education…as witnessed by how you got completely and utterly destroyed in this debate…

my point was that even though Univ. of Texas Law School is only ranked #15 in the U.S., within Texas it is very powerful and highly regarded such that its graduates are sought after more than those from most schools ranked above it except maybe the top three…and I used the top Texas law firm, Vinson & Elkins, to make this point.

You see, I think that we were trying to make the same point.

By the way, the degrees are from Princeton undergraduate and Stanford graduate

Ok **xiggi **- then, lets use another source. The following are departments in which UC Berkeley is ranked higher or equal to Stanford (7 higher and 9 equal). All of them are top 5 in the country.

**sure xiggi, and here are your posted messages, SLOWLY AND CAREFULLY proving that you stated that UC Berkeley did not have any departments ranked higher than Stanford:

you started with this**:

I responded with this:

and then you responded with this:

I then proved you completely wrong by listing the rankings of 14 departments in which UC Berkeley is ranked higher than Stanford and asked you again:

and, of course, you denied what you had said above:

that there are no undergraduate departments at UC Berkeley that are better than Stanford when we have shown how many graduate departments are better or equal to Stanford?

you wouldn’t want to look silly like xiggi has just looked would you?

OC, if you made the effort to read my post instead of trying to display your quotation mastery, you’'ll discover that you and I talk about different elements. As a hint, check where I used the term “higher ranked” programs?

And this is the last I’ll say about this non-sensical discussion.

UCBChem, it is truly incredible how many departments UC Berkeley has ranked in the top 5 in this country eh?

truly incredible!

no other public universities even come close and only a couple of Private Universities are in the same ballpark - Stanford, Harvard and Princeton
