Hi! Today, I just got a letter from the University of Pittsburgh giving me two options. One option was to be placed on the wait list for the Swanson School of Engineering and the other option was to accept my admission to the Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences. I plan to take the major Computer Science. In your opinion, which option should I take? If you have time, can you please give me a reason to why that would be the best option? Thanks for your input.
If you want to major in Computer Science, the major is actually housed in the Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences. https://www.cs.pitt.edu/undergrad/
Like @hailtopitt1787 said, CS is not in the SSOE but actually within A&S. However, if you intended to major in Computer Engineering, that would be in SSOE.
