We used to have a week-long trip for seniors to a camping place in upstate NY, but it got cancelled a couple years back, cause it was too out of control. A girl and a guy got caught doing it, and the school lost one kid who was found a week later by a park officer. From what I heard, it was supposed to be the ****.
I haven't really gone on any HS trips cause my teachers suck, but what about you guys?

Went to Orlando with the music department this year twas amazing… My teacher was incredibly oblivious the whole time… Over the next 3 years we will definitely be going to Boston, NYC, and chicago. Senior year IB students go on trips, so France for me :)

I’m sorry you don’t get to go anywhere btw… That’s so lame!

Yeah, you have to be in like the music academy or do very random clubs to go on trips. Most teachers don’t really care…

True, this teacher only has sight in one eye and is incredibly naive… Best teacher to travel with.

My homeschool co-op visits a different country each year. Last year they went to Italy (I got incredibly sick).

@tofugirl I got sick in Italy too… Bad memories…

Yeah, we don’t do school trips that are purely for fun (and slightly academic). It’s usually for competitions or conventions, like DECA, Key Club, HOSA, Latin. Band goes to Disney World though while going to competitions, and DECA went to Harry Potter World.

In fact, I’ve only been on one field trip in high school. smh in elem and middle school I went on eight a year, then I moved
