best school with a biology department?

Biology is a bread-and-butter major... EVERY school in the top 50 or so, universities and LACs, is going to have a very strong, solid program.
At the undergrad level, focus on getting into the best overall university or college.</p>

<p>I'm hoping to go to med school. I know UCLA and UCSD have good bio programs, I'm not sure about UCB, from the statistics that I get from their websites, UCSD sends about 180 students to med school every year and UCB only 98ish, and I couldn't find anything on UCLA? I'm stupmed. Is UCSD and UCLA better than UCB in terms of med school placement?</p>
