Best schools for quidditch?

I first started playing quidditch when I was 10, and I have loved it since then. I have always dreamed of playing it at the high school (and later college and professional) level. I do rather well in the sport, so I want to go to a school with a strong history with quidditch. My main goal is to get recruited to the WIQ (Worldwide International Quidditch) league. Recommendations for schools?

Hogwarts is not bad

I know Hogwarts has a pretty good quidditch program with many students going on to play in the WIQ

As far as college, I know Wellesley’s team is pretty good.

How about college? I know Hogwarts quidditch is premier, but what is best university for quidditch (best team?)

Ah… no other school is better than Hogwarts as far as I know. Many of the students go on to becoming professional Quidditch players and participate in national teams and even participate in the Worldwide International Quidditch League. Hogwarts really is a wonderful school. You could almost say magical. The acceptance part might prove tricky though. You might wanna cast a wider net.

But siriusly now, MIT has a quidditch team xD

Hogwarts really is calling my name. Ginny Weasley went there, and she went on to play professionally, so it must be good. Their admissions, though; it’s just so tough!!

WELLESLEY DOES HAVE A QUIDDITCH TEAM, GUYS. I WAS NOT JOKING.

OMG THEY DO!!!

Seeing this thread made me smile because my son just posted a link to purchase the Brown Quidditch t-shirts on FB today. They were regional champs last year. Most of the top teams that go to the World Cup are from state universities, but the muggle game started at Middlebury and most of the east coast schools have a team. If anyone wants to see the link for the Brown Quidditch t-shirt, you can either google it or PM me and I will send you the link.

Middlebury.

So does MIT btw…
i was serious

@RockComet I know! When you said you were serious, I thought you were hinting that I wasn’t.

We’re still friends, right? :D

My life is complete. ^:)^

loooool hahahahahahaha @stargirl3 of course we are  i was actually serious :P

@omgjusttellme i know right! since i didnt get my acceptance letter at hogwarts… at least… at least lets go to a school with a quidditch team. Ah… we potterheads…

I was waitlisted at Hogwarts. Obviously.

@stargirl3 I waited and waited and waited so damn long for that letter when I was 11 but it never came…Obviously.

Such disappointment

Since I live in the U.S., they’ll probably send me my letter at 14 'cause we’re so far behind. :)

@stargirl3 that explains it all!!! That’s got to be it! We’re not in denial; we just live too far away. :^o

Far behind as in far away, but the U.S. education system is also a year or two (or three?) behind the U.K. :D
