michigan is transfer friendly and it's probably got the highest transfer acceptance rate for a top 25 school

yeah it does have a pretty high transfer rate. 44%

UVA has a fairly high transfer rate. Dont know the # off the top of my head but its pretty high.
UNC is transfer friendly as well

Anyone have the transfer rates for Barnard, Bryn Mawr, Rutgers?

bryn mawr is around 24-25%. does anyone know about sfs at georgetown? is it the same as the general georgetown transfer rate?

For 2005, Barnard's transfer/visiting student admit rate was just under 32%.

Can you find out for:
Smith
Wellesley
Mills College
Sarah Lawrence
Scripps

Thank you!

Barnard 39%
Bryn Mawr 25%
Rutgers Douglas College-NA
Rutgers Camden-49%
Rutgers New Brunswick-42%
Rutgers Newark-37%
SFS is much lower than gtown I think like 13%, gtown's is 21%

Smith 36%
Wellesley 29%
Mills College 72%
Sarah Lawrence 17%
Scripps 42%

wow bu's transfer acceptance rate is significantly less than its freshman admission rate. what is northwestern's transfer acceptance rate, if you don't mind?

Barnard's 39% rate was for 2004; it was 32% for 2005. FYI, the 2005 info is now posted on their website.

thx, I'm not trying to prove you wrong, this is just usnews data

No problem, I didn't take it that way. I just wanted to clarify the info. Plus, I have a vested interest: My daughter just transferred to Barnard.

Good luck to everyone who's just starting the process!

Can you get Carleton, Oberlin, Grinnell?

Carleton 7%
Oberlin 32%
Grinnell 23%

7% for carleton? my god i didnt think it was that competitive...

Thanks for the numbers :)

I guess that means my chances of being accepted AGAIN as a Carleton transfer are pretty slim. Is there a way to get average SATs or GPA of students accepted to Carleton?

Do any of you know the numbers for Haverford and Spelman?

Haverford 2%!! with no transfers last year
Spelman 22%

No problem, SG

what about northwestern?
