Best Schools with Best Transfer Rates?

i was going for LAS, rejected

Wow why are these midwestern schools like WashU and Northwestern have higher acceptance rates for transfer than freshman? I was waitlisted by WashU(fresh. app) this January and is there any hope for me to get in for 2nd semester freshman year?

I doubt it, but I guess it's possible if your grades are really high.

I'm assuming you were out of state for UIUC?

what is middlebury's transfer rate? thanks.

How about Davidson, Oberlin, Reed?

Davidson, plz???

why the hell would you ever apply transfer to davidson????

try uva, v tech, maryland, william and mary, UNC

bullseye: yes out of state. I'm not a resident of michigan, though, and was accepted there.

what's wrong with applying transfer to davidson???

Who knows UMrunner, college admissions are crazy. I'm applying to UIUC as a resident, Brown, Cornell, and WashU. What I really want to know is if you're having a blast at UM. That's what's important, that you fit well and you're happy with your decision. I know what I want in a college/university experience, and I know what it's like to both live on campus with a roomate and commute from home. I've lived a diverse experience and I'm hoping one of those schools will provide me with a good education and college life, fun, as well as a little away time from home. This year at home is nice, but I think that being away suits me better.

what's swarthmore's, dartmouth's, and emory's %? thanksyous

NYU, Columbia??

I know Swarthmore's %, like many small school's, fluctuates. Last year it was about 15%, but they've made the process easier this year so I wonder if it will be smaller. Swarthmore and Dartmouth are very different places though, you should know.

what's amherst's %? ecape, how are they very different places? i'm still trying to find out more about them.

how bought purdue and minnesota? for outa state

Swarthmore is known for liberal geeks, who work very hard. Swarthore's greatest strengths include social sciences and biology. Dartmouth student population is largely preppy and more conservative, w/ frat-style hard partying, a sports scene, and Dartmouth is of course a university. I know Dartmouth is strong in ecology, but I can't tell you too much more about the academics...
Amherst's % was 18 last year.

Wash U rates?

thanks for the info
