best senior schedule for UMCP engineering admission

I'm an asian male, and I plan on going to UMCP to do engineering/physics/maths or possibly double major engineering with business.
I'm a current IB junior- these are my classes
IB HL Euro Hist1
IB HL ENG1
IB HL Physics1
AP CALC Bc, or IB HL math 1
Tok
IB SL French
IB SL Enviro

This year, I will take ap exams: euro, lit, calc, enviro, psychology, and human geo.
At UMCP, getting 4's on ap euro, lit, and calc give me the same credits as perfects on IB hl history, eng, and math.

I was thinking of dropping out of IB, and taking this schedule for senior year:

Ap lang (english is required)
Ap chem (2 periods)
Ap bio (2 periods)
Ap Econ
IB Physics HL 2

This new schedule gives me almost 12 more credits at UMCP. Of course, there's no guarantee for my junior year AP scores, so this is a risk. Should I do it?
Will UMCP care that I dropped the full IB diploma?
Does UMCP value the IB diploma or AP credits?

once they see that your GPA and SAT/ACT are acceptable for admissions, they’re going to look at the whole package not just for admissions but for honors/scholars, merit, etc.

so instead of putting the cart before the horse, do you have anything to worry about with your GPA or SAT/ACT?

My GPA is around 3.5 weighted, I haven’t taken a real SAT yet, but my scores on the practices hover around 2100. Math (760); Writing (680), Reading (680)

These are my only scores:
SAT history (720)
Apush (4)
AP stat (5)

Well I used to be in IB but I took Pre-IB courses (actual IB courses began junior year). I switched schools for personal reasons and took APs instead.

I was recently accepted into the school of engineering and honestly I don’t think it would be a big deal if you dropped IB for AP. Both are very rigorous and as long as you continue to push yourself, you shall be good. Plus, colleges focus on grades 9-11 when you apply.

Projected SAT is very good. The GPA is well below UMD’s average of 4.1. I’d be much more concerned about getting that GPA up and scoring that 2100 than swapping an IB for an AP.
