Best Seven Sisters college for a career in arts administration?

Which of the remaining sisters (Barnard, Bryn Mawr, Mount Holyoke, Smith, Wellesley) would best help me break into the arts administration business? I plan to double major in Political Science and either Art History or Music. I want to get a sense of which of these schools is most supportive of the arts and am looking to the CC community for some insight. Thank you!

I know both MHC and Smith have excellent art museums, FWIW. Don’t know about the others…

Barnard has the largest number of museums. In New York a student ID will get you into many places free of charge. D1 was an art history major at Barnard and loved it.

Wellesley’s Davis Museum is one of the best academic art museums in the country. [DAVIS MUSEUM: Welcome](http://www.davismuseum.wellesley.edu/welcome/index.html) Our art history department is phenomenal. I’m an art history major, so I know the department pretty well. And if you also want to do Poli Sci, Wellesley is the perfect place because it’s one of the most well known programs at Wellesley. Two out of three female Secretary of State (or former) are from Wellesley…you can’t go wrong with that! ;)

Take a look at Mount Holyoke’s Nexus Program:
[Nexus :: Mount Holyoke College](http://www.mtholyoke.edu/acad/nexus/)

There are pathways in Arts & Society, Non-profit Organizations, and Global Business:

You might contact Marie Troppe, Director (413-538-3010) to get more information. (Alternately, I believe there is a link to her e-mail on the website.)

Good luck!

Smith also has a museums concentration: [Smith College: Museums Concentration](http://www.smith.edu/museums/about.php)

Any of 'em besides Bryn Mawr.
