I found Pi Beta Phi to be a combination of "rich, hot, fun, and kind of elitist". Kappa Kappa Gamma and Theta didn't have the great rushes like Pi Phi.
The top 4 were Pi Phi, Theta, DG and Kappa. They seem to be the "status" sororities, and the ones everyone wants.

this is a really helpful thread, thanks (:

The information in this thread is really dated. The top houses, being the ones with fun, cute girls who the top frats do socials with, are(in alphabetical order):

Alpha Phi
Chi Omega
Delta Gamma
Kappa
Pi Phi
Theta

They each have different personalities that attract different types of girls. The "top" house within this group will change from year to year based on the pledge classes. People have different opinions on what makes a "top house". The rush process does a really good job of matching girls with the houses they'd be happiest in. The Greek community at UCLA is a small percentage of the students but for those who like to work hard and play harder, going Greek makes for an instant social network with more fun activities and parties than most people can fit into their schedules.

kind of random, but what sororities would you say have the busiest/most-diverse students? I know this is kind of weird, but I'm a little interested in rushing either this spring or next fall, and I'd like to be part of a sorority where the students do all sorts of things outside of the Greek world. I am a horseback rider and really committed to riding and competing, so I want to get myself in with a group of kids that also has an activities that they are passionate about and that take up much of their time. (IE sports, off or on campus jobs, internships, etc). I'm a little intimidated by the whole non-stop partying thing...

does anyone know anything about the asian sororities? i wanna join one next year, but i don't know much about them.

just wondering… whats the basic public opinion on alpha phi? is it considered a hot/ fun/ good sorority to be in? (im a legacy and considering joining when i get to college)

alpha phi is a top house. you should be hot to be in it

assuming brainyblonde’s pi phi was short for pi beta phi, but which ones were kappa (kappa kappa gamma? passibly?) and theta abbreviations for?

theta-- kappa alpha theta
kappa-- kappa kappa gamma

what are the bottom sororities? are there one or two where someone would just rather not join a sorority at all than be one of them?

There are only 13 IFC Sororities (1 being new this year & another being engineering based). If you’re not already in the top 6 listed, then you’re a bottom.

whats your article called? i wanna read it :)

I’m from the UK and I was wondering if you think it’s worth moving to the U.S. to go to college (I have loads of time to think)
