Hi guys, I was wondering what the best course of action for the November and December SATs (as far as studying goes) would be for the people that did not do as well as they wanted to in October.

Let me tell you my story because it is probably similar to that of some of the people on this forum. I studied for the SATs this summer, and averaged low 2300s on tests. I reasoned that since I had prepared for the test (20+ practice tests) I would take the SATs for the first time in October as a junior. About a month leading to the test, I did a practice test a week and I did two practice tests the Thursday and Friday before the test; I scored a 2330 and a 2370 on these tests. I went in on test day feeling pretty confident, and I even thought that I did pretty well. I got my scores back for October and got a 2090 (700 M, 670 CR, 720 W, 10 E). I was really surprised because I had never done this bad on any of the practice tests, and I took them under realistic test conditions. I am even a little bit disheartened because I do not know whether I will be able to bring this score up to my goal score (mid 2300s). So was the October SAT just that bad? What should the people who are taking it again in December and November do as far as studying goes? Should they just not study for the test if they already studied for it in October?
Thanks!

*I just found out that the November 3rd SAT is cancelled in my area due to Hurricane Sandy. This grants me like an extra week until the actual test because I think the CollegeBoard has planned some sort of makeup date.
