<p>I don’t know about the History dept., but for political science:</p>
<p>Bing, Albany/SB/Geneseo, Oswego.</p>
<p>Bing’s dept. is highly ranked. Albany has the advantage of being in the state’s capitol. SBU was recommended by my guidance counselor when I applied as being somewhat strong in poli sci. I’ve heard good things about Geneseo. </p>
<p>Oswego is not that prominent, as far as I’ve seen anyway.</p>
<p>I believe Binghamton’s Poli Sci Program was ranked by the London School of Economics as 19th in the world.</p>
