<p>I am transfering out from a community college for this upcoming fall. I know im not going to a private university, UT austin, or A&M. My choices are down to UTD, UTSA, University of Houston, Texas State, and Texas Tech. I want to go on to study medicine, but for right now my major is between biology and biochemistry. I have lived in Austin Tx all my life and I don't really know anything else out of hereand if I had a choice I would stay here but that's not happening. If anyone would be able to tell me what university might be a good fit for me I would greatly appreciate it.</p>
<p>I would definitely pick UTD over UTSA, Houston, TX State, and Tech. However TX A&M does have a great veterinarian program if thats what you wanted to do. But overall UTD is a great school, I know lots of people who have graduated from UTD and now have great careers as doctors and engineers. The one thing is that I heard is that at UTD you probably won’t have a social life, is very strong academically and the job market knows that. Especially if your looking for a job in Dallas. Overall I would say UT, UTD and TX A&M are your best choices!</p>
