<p>If a student has average stats, what would be the "best" time to apply? is it best to apply EA since there are less applicants? or regular? Also, is the applicant pool stronger for the EA round? I'm thinking because of scholarship awards.</p>

<p>You have to apply by December 15th I believe for scholarships. EA all depends, you’re done, and then if you aren’t strong enough for that round, you can get deferred to RD or rejected. I thought it was nice to have the process done with, even though the app is due November 1st. If you apply EA you have your scholarship decision around Christmas. They actually had a good article in the skiff about it the other day, search admissions on the site.</p>
