Best UC for undergrad for aspiring lawyer?

Ive been lurking here awhile and have found a lot of great information so far. I'm a student at a California community college (goofed off in HS but glad to be here) who will be applying this fall to attend UC.

My question: is there one UC that is better than all the rest I should shoot for to increase my chances of getting into law school? I really have no intention on leaving California and have been thinking of Berkeley or UCLA for law school.

Are there any other CC students here going on to UC? What CC did you attend? What UC are you or do u want to go to? I'm currently at PCC. I don't know if having CC on my transcript will hurt me but I'm guessing it won't.

THANKS!

There are a few of us. I don't think people want to admit to it. Most cc students become lost in the system and never make it to a four year colleges… I went to cc for 2.5 years then transferred to UC Davis in jan. of this year. I hope the admissions I am really, really considering going to law school and have been surfing the forums and net. My biggest concern: is the investment of law school worth it? I don’t want to finish law school with massive student loans that I am not able to pay off until I am ready to collect social security! Will I be able to make the money I need to live happily in California and not have to work 60 hours a week? Not sure still trying to figure it out...

From what I have read on the net you should go to a school where you will be able get the best grades possible, I keep interrupting that they look at GPA more than the school you got your degree from. But then I still don’t think they can really say a 4.00 from Sacramento State is more impressive than a 3.5 at UC Berkley? No, come on!!! Good Luck!?!
