feel free to list private colleges and csu as well. thank you.
I am assuming your title should read: Best UC for Undergraduate Marketing
Only 1 UC offers Undergraduate Marketing as a concentration which is UC Riverside. UC Irvine and Berkeley offer Marketing through their MBA program which is graduate level.
USC offers a Minor in Marketing
Santa Clara offers a Major in Marketing
University of San Francisco offers a Major in Marketing
If you are looking for Marketing Undergrad, the Cal States are your best options. Here is a list:

CPSLO, SDSU and CSULB are probably the ‘best’ CSUs but, they are selective. Nearly all of the CSUs have competent programs in this area. What are your stats?
@gumbymom I was a little surprised on your marketing comments especially myself knowing that marketing is one of the most popular majors or emphasis in any undergraduate business schools. Actually, as an undergraduate, you can have an emphasis in marketing at UC Berkeley Haas Business School or at UC Irvine Merage Business School and get an undergraduate business degree with an emphasis in marketing. You won’t get a marketing degree, but will get a marketing concentration or emphasis with your undergraduate business degree.
You can get direct admission to UCI Merage as a freshman. However, for UCB Haas and UCR Andersen, you would apply to the school during you sophomore year for junior year status.
@UCBUSCalum: I probably posted too soon before doing more research. I mainly did a Undergraduate Marketing search for the UC’s and that was the information that came up based on my Google search. I did not go in depth but thank you for the clarification.
OP has several posts in regards to Business majors and finding schools that will accept them with a 2.5 GPA and I assumed they were looking for an Undergrad Marketing degree. With a less than stellar GPA, OP needs to look to the Cal States and not the UC’s. Hopefully this gives you some context on my answer but thank you setting me straight with this helpful information.
@Gumbymom , you are welcome. You are providing a great service with a wealth of information for many of today’s college applicants.
With a 2.5 GPA, it will be a difficult climb to get into any of the 3 mentioned UC’s undergraduate business schools or even and competitive CSU’s or private schools. Even smaller business schools or schools with recognizable names have gotten competitive to get into. There are probably schools or business schools which OP can get into with a 2.5 GPA.
with a 2.5, you are probably looking at the non-impacted CSUs like SF, CSU EB and Stan State are good targets.
