What do you guys think? Who is the king of Undergrad?

princeton!!! but dartmouth is excellent!! I also think Williams' undergrad education is as good as princeton or dartmouth

Obviously the answer is Williams. lol

For Princeton, Dartmouth and Williams, many people put them among the top 10 schools on undergraduate education.

For professors' research, the order is P, D, W (small difference between D and W);

For students' SAT, the order is P, D, W (small difference between D and W);

For teaching quality, the order is W, D, P (small difference between D and P);

For college sports, the order is W, P, D (small difference between D and P);

For weather, the order is P, D, W (small difference between D and W);

For access to a major city, the order is P, D, W (small difference between D and W).

For Overall Quality, the order is P,W,D.

Don't scream to me! :D

Nonsense...

williams better than princeton in sports? eh, i doubt it.

why do people post threads like this one?

how about this one...

likeliness to get laid... D > P

Actually...no. lol Princeton is New Jersey...do the math. Plus, Penn and Princeton have the hottest girls with Duke edging both of them out in that category. :)

choopity,

People with "special needs" love these mines bigger than yours styled debates/threads, apparently even people who-- for reasons that most of us find mystifying -- are accepted into some very selective colleges.

They also enjoy rating people; or more to the point, women, though on occasion they derive delight in the practice of comparing their dads relative strength and size with that of such manly attributes in other boys dads; it has been said, the puerile will always be with us, though, it can be hoped that with some luck, they will not inherit the earth.

you shut up.

hahahaha I'm sorry, brother.

Dartmouth has awesome skiing, great food, and an awesome faculty. Plus, slipper went there, so that's a big plus. :)

It all depends on the type of environment and the academic program you want. Just pick the school that has your ideal academic program, and the environment that suits you.

If you love a small atmosphere, and like the small town atmosphere go to either Dartmouth or Williams.

If you want access to a big city or value the resources of a large university, or want to do engineering go to Princeton.

The smartest answer that I have seen yet to this question. Independent thinker, who doesn't care what others think, doing what is best for you. How refreshing.

Uhm, Sybbie, I answered the question too and I must admit that it was done in a very tactful manner. :)

I'll take second place then.

Not quite... if you want access to a big city, don't go to any of the above.

nuh uh Princeton is more like a suburb
to Philly and NYC

Are you saying 45 minutes isnt acces to a big city? 45 minutes to Philly AND NYC? I dont think it gets any better than that. You have to drive 45+ minutes one-way to get anywhere in Phoenix with traffic and the spread-out-ness. 45 minutes is nothing.

Dartmouth #1 for All Around Education:

Also #1 of Top 50, #1 Ivy, #1 in Factors That Matter to Students, etc. See this link for other comparisons:

You might get to Philly from Princeton in 45 minutes as Princeton is much closer to Philly than it is to NYC. But you are definitely not getting to NYC in 45 minutes. Have ya ever driven through Jersey?

These are by train =P

Jersey sucks for driving it takes about 1 hour to drive there, roughly 40 minutes to get to newark
