I'm a student who has a A.S. in Biology and is looking for the best school in NY to finish my B.S. My end goal is to get into Cornell Vet School. Does anyone have any idea which school would be the best to help me obtain this goal? I know in PA if you attend PennState you have a better chance of getting into UPenn and I'm hoping to find a similar situation in NY. I would prefer it be a public school just for cost reasons, but doesn't have to be. Thank you for any information.

The top schools in the SUNY system are generally thought of as Binghamton, Geneseo, Buffalo, and Stony Brook. Look at their biology programs and decides which one appeals most to you.

you should research one of the contractual colleges at Cornell, so you will get instate tuition, assuming you are a NY resident. can’t beat that, especially if you want to go to Cornell for vet school.

“InState” tuition at Cornell still puts your total bill over $40,000, twice that on the SUNY’s
