I'm looking for a school that offers a lot of opportunities to students in the engineering field. But I'm looking for a transfer one. I was thinking about going to Embry Riddle in Daytona Beach and then transfer to a different program. Any other schools that are worthy and tier 1?

That is an incredibly broad question. What kind of school size are you considering? Does geography matter? Setting? Do you only want to look at the “undergraduate-only” programs or are you also considering the larger PhD-granting/research institutions?

Well I’m considering a larger PhD research grant institution. I really don’t care about the setting. I want to see other people’s opinion on where I can transfer after my sophomore year in college.

That’s not really an opinion thing though. Either you can or you can’t and each individual school could tell you. There problem is that there are a ton of schools so there needs to be some criteria to narrow it down.

Any reason why you’re starting out at Embry-Riddle then transferring? As opposed to just starting at the place you want to finish at?

Embry-Riddle is great for Aero Engineering, but if you’re not sure you’re going to stay there in the first place, you might as well start out at the school you plan to finish at, or opt for a state school to start at and save some money.
