Best way to combine electrical and chemical engineering??

I'm going to u of Michigan, would it be better to major in electrical engineering and minor in chemistry or major in chemical engineering and minor in electrical engineering

First, tell us why you feel the need to “combine” the two.

^ yes (10Char)

I am interested in the material for both of them and think it would be a good mix

Maybe at your school you can do a minor in ChemE or the other. At PSU, I do know ChemE minor has been discontinued.

Sounds like a good thing to talk to an advisor about.

You must be really hardcore. I do know of a guy doing electrical and mechanical (dual major) at U of MI, but my cousin is doing mechanical there right now and pretty much walks around with a thousand yard stare.

my school has an electrochemistry sequence in the Chem E major where basically you take 3-4 classes in EE. but yea i think it would be easier to major in chem e and minor in EE if you really want to do that, though i dont see the point but maybe you have a calling to do it.

nah im not hardcore and dont have some calling lol. I just thought it might make a good mix but sounds like it would be pretty rough. Thanks.
