Best way to study?

I get out of school May 21st, so I'll have 23 days to prepare for the ACT on June 14th.

I was thinking of going 4 days (each day studying a separate section), taking a rest the 5th day, taking a practice test the 6th day, and resting again the 7th day. This will allow me to take 3 full length practice tests.

If I waited until the following Monday after I got out of school, I'd only have 2 weeks to study in the way in which I'd like to.

I figured this would be a good study schedule because it allows me to study, and take a full length practice test at the end of the week or whatever. I could also see my score progress (hopefully).

I need to increase my overall composite 2 points (Got a 26, need a 28 minimum).

I'm going to get the older version of the red book so I can have some more retired practice tests.

Is this good? Too exhausting mentally? Any tips/advice?

i think you got a pretty good plan, but on the 5th day of your plan = reviewing all the little parts you learned for half of a day, and then rest for the other half. on the 6th day, DEFINATELY review why you got the answers wrong, and if you don't know why you have it wrong (i.e. math) on the 6th day, look it up on the internet on spare time on 6th..... and definately rest for a well-deserved break on the seventh (ACT gets annoying)

Good thinking on resting the seventh day. That way you've got God on your side :P

hahahha ^^^
