Just wanted to wish you the best as O-week approaches. Most of your HS friends are likely at their schools already ... but Chicago is getting ready for your arrival: your new RA's are in training already, and your RCA's and O-aids will be soon. The hostas and geraniums are in bloom in Hyde Park. The pizza at Giordano's is as wonderful as always. The bookstores are full to overflowing - and Walgreen's has many of the items you will forget (or not have room for). If your mom is bringing you, extra Kleenex may be in order!

It as been a long road already to get to this point. If you are feeling a little unsure of yourself - that's normal. This is an adventure; how boring would it be to know in advance exactly where your path will lead? Be of good faith - you would not have been admitted if you weren't bright and wonderful and capable. You will soon be friends with scholars from many states and countries and religions and cultures: your world will expand. Savor every minute!
