Best/worst dorms?

Hello,

This is my first post here, but just had a few questions. I got assigned a dorm in the Mid-Faywhethers… What should I expect? I’m thankful that I’m not in the Choates, but don’t know what type of dorm it will be. Also, my friend got assigned to a triple in Richardson, and she’d kill me if I didn’t ask what her room will be like…

@midwestthunder The following link will take you to the floorplans of the buildings you inquired about. Unfortunately I cannot provide any inside information as my daughter lived in McLaughlin. Hopefully though you can locate your room, storage, lavatories etc and perhaps a few of your questions will be answered. http://www.dartmouth.edu/~orl/housing/communities/fay-whe-rich.html

No personal knowledge, but these reviews [albeit somewhat dated] should make both of you relatively happy: http://thedartmouth.com/2002/09/16/freshmen-experience-best-and-worst-of-dartmouth-housing/ Enjoy your next four years!

You are lucky not to be in the Choates …

Don’t worry too much about which dorm you are assigned. You are going to be living with amazing students from around the world. You are not going to spend much time in your room between studying and extra-curriculars. The “worst” dorms foster the best camaraderie. After first year, it will get much better.
