Better Chance of Getting In?

I'm applying to pomona RD. This past fall, I applied for their Fall Weekend for minorities and got accepted to it. They paid for me to visit them, from Philly to Ontario (~$500), gave me a card full of meal plans, and took me to the mall where they, again, paid for food and games at GameWorks. I wasn't alone; it was with about 15 other seniors.

So I'm thinking, if they're willing to spend that much money on me, wouldn't it make sense for them to accept me?

It does make sense, but the college admissions process can be far from sensible. That said, your attending the Fall Weekend demonstrated your interest in the school, so that’s a plus. Make sure you mention it on your application.

Good luck!

Thanks! I guess we’ll just have to see what happens and staying hopeful.
