Hi! I think my discussion title pretty much says it all. I’m planning to apply for transfer to UCLA this fall, and I plan on majoring in English. I was wondering if anyone had some advice/insight as to whether I should apply for the English major or the American Lit/Culture major on my application. I’ve read/heard that the English major program is highly impacted, so would I have a better chance of being accepted to UCLA as an Am Lit/Cult major? Also, after I am admitted (hopefully), would I be able to change my major to English though I was admitted as an Am Lit/Cult major? Thanks!!
