Should I apply early action or regular decision for best chances?

Thank you

Your academic and test stats are not outstanding (excellent at most schools, but not as usually perceived for ND EA,) but you have really cool experience otherwise (EMT is really something out of the ordinary - would make great essay topic.) #1 in Chemistry Olympics is good, too. Suggest you talk to ND admissions rep. The reps are really helpful and easy to talk to. Maybe consider taking ACT again as even 1 or 2 more points could make a big difference. Good luck. If you make it in, I hope you’re in my dorm - could use an EMT around here!

I’m not sure what you decided to do since this is an older post, but hopefully you decided to wait for regular decision. ND often rejects students EA that could be competitive in the RD pool. That said, you won’t be rejected EA. Most likely deferred, in which case it won’t make all that much of a difference. But you COULD be one of those cases where RD will really help your chances.
