Here’s my situation:
I applied to USC as a Psychology major and was accepted. However, since I applied I have decided I want to change my major to dramatic arts. I realize that switching my major to a BA will be easier, but what are my chances of joining the BFA program? I’m not sure what the requirements are, as the website is pretty vague.
The BFA in Acting requires an audition and is highly selective - hundreds of students audition each year for 16-18 spots. (My son auditioned, but was redirected to the BA program.). Joining the BFA program would probably be very difficult since auditions were over months ago, but you could call the department and see if they make any exceptions.
