BFA MT or Acting TRANSFER HELP!

<p>Im currently a BFA Acting mojor (dance minor) thinking of possibly transfering schools next fall. I dont really want to say what school im attending currently attending because its one of the top schools and I don't want "detected" I guess. </p>

<p>Does anyone know which schools accept transfers into BFA programs as juniors or even upper level sophmores? (I don't want a BA and I don't want another 4 years of school basically) </p>

<p>Any info would be greatly appriciated. So far NYU is the only one that looks good.</p>

<p>You would be well served to repost or look through some prior threads in CC's MT or Theater forums. Many informed, experienced posters with specific knowledge there.</p>

<p>Knowing what I do about performance arts programs (son is a conservatory graduate) you may well have to spend an additional year, as a number of performance credits may not be transferable.</p>
