<p>Is there much bicycle theft here? I need to buy a new bike lock and I'm wondering if I should go with something heavy duty like the nyc kryptonite or a regular on guard pitbull will be okay?</p>
<p>Bikes are stored inside, so there’s virtually no theft from off-campus people. As long as you keep it locked, you should be fine. The only thefts I’ve heard of have been students who left their bikes unlocked. No one has to resort to storing their bikes in their room or anything like that, if that’s what you mean. :)</p>

<p>While there is inside storage, students who use their bikes to get to class use the outside racks.
My daughter locked hers to the outside rack in fall and spring when she rode it daily but put it in her dorm basement storage for the winter. Even though there are many unlocked bikes around campus…be safe and use a lock.</p>
