All Im offended by is the reference to college station PA, there is no such a place. It is State College and I have to go to class now but I'll give you a little more info on it when I am done.

University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Business is one of the top undergraduate business schools. Minneapolis has a lot ot offer. The U of Mn is building a new football stadium on campus. Transportation to and from Cal is easy.

Cal, I think, Arizona is a better option then ASU. That is if u really like the idea of living in an oasis in the middle of a big arid desert :D.... id go crazy in the desert lol. Minnesota as Ferris mentioned is a great Big Ten School. Minneapolis is a city full of culture, and tons of scenic views. the school is good as well. However the problem: it is soooooo freakin cold. lol. I love cold weather, thus i applied to 4 big ten schools (IU, OSU, MSU, Purdue) and i was tempted to apply to similar school such as University of MInn, but the weather drove me off. this year it reached - 10 and the Ipics at CNN on tv were scary lol. I just wouldnt make it :D...

SOcal, wat about Michigan State? out of the schools, i am starting to lean towards MSU cause of its campus. Its got a ton of Ivy covered buildings and lots of grassy lawns and trees. Academics are good especially if u lik Business.

I don't know...maybe?? But right now my favorite is Illinois.

Do you guys know anything about it?

My Dad went there. Great school, esp in tech areas: engineering and computing (it's been nicknamed the "MIT of the Midwest"). UIll's usually on short lists of elite state U's in this country... Business, esp accounting, is excellent, too. Generally considered Their Krannert Center for the arts is still, though some 30 odd years old, is still among the biggest and best performing arts center in the nation. Also, Illinois has the 3rd largest library behind Harvard & Yale in this country... Downsides: very few OSS's given its size and caliber (it's almost all suburban Chicago kids). Plus, it's out in the middle of nowhere, amidst plains and corn. Champaign-Urban is boring, boring, boring!! Campus isn't remarkable -- more or less typical Big 10 campus. Pretty, large central quad with stately redbrick buildings, but outside the quad, its very bland...

But as of now my favorite Big 10's are Penn St, Illinois, and Indiana....I only want to apply to 1 or 2 at most, because my list is already pretty large. I already have UMiami, UCSB, SDSU, ASU, LMU, Pepperdine, and CU-Boulder.

Academically, all are pretty good (Illinois is the strongest overall, with PSU next), tho you should look into the strengths of the areas you think you may be majoring in.

On a totally different front (having partied extensively at all 3 schools - yeah, I took A LOT of road-trips as an undergrad), I would place PSU 1st (lots of fun bars/clubs right next to campus) with Illinois a close second (do the bars still admit those under 21?) - both also have a very active fraternity scene. At Indiana - most of the partying seems to be on-campus at fraternities.
