<p>How hard would it be to get an internship at a big 4 accounting firm. I currently go to the Smith school at UMD and want to get something i could put on my resume in the future. not really aiming to become an accountant. looking into management consulting.</p>
<p>If you're talking about interning in the audit or tax lines of service, you'll need to be an accounting major/concentrator. I gather from another thread that you're majoring in finance and not accounting.</p>
<p>Internships for the consulting/advisory side of things tend to be somewhat competitive since there are fewer spots available. You need to have a strong resume and be an excellent interviewer.</p>
