University of Nebraska Lincoln BA is audition and you are required to audition for MT minor at end of freshman year⊠also they review you sophomore year for cuts⊠class size goal this year is 15 total for performance ⊠on my daughters short list
@MTfamily1 I believe it is a BMA (bachelor of musical arts) in Lyric TheatreâŠmy daughter did a walk in and it looked very tied to their classical music program but with a stronger acting component. They mentioned movement but not really dance intensive. They accepted my daughter conditional of university acceptance (looks like great school) but the program did not seem like a fit for her.

Longwood University in Farmville VA has a Minor in Musical Theatre that looks like it pairs with the BA/BM in Visual and Performing Arts. And perhaps the BFA.
The University of Miami does not appear to still offer a BM in MT, only a BFA. Additionally, Florida School of the Arts in Palatka, Florida offers an AS in Musical Theatre.
