Anyone know how well this program works, and if it’s still operated by the Brown Outing Club? From what I’ve found, it’s been up and running since last spring, but it started with only around seven bikes. I’m considering either joining up with them or buying my own bike, as I need a bike twice a week for volunteering in Providence.

My friend is a “leader” apparently the program isn’t too popular so bikes are usually there.

Oh, I was hoping Brown had something like this! My internet searches didn’t return anything save a handful of broken links. Do either of you have a website/know where I could contact people?

Thanks!

I believe the Brown Outing Club has a room in Faunce Arch that I’ll be going to to ask about it. Here’s the two pages I found when I searched “Brown bike co-op”:

It’d also be nice if you don’t plan on regularly using a bike, but would like to go on a bike hike to the beach (apparently there’s a really nice path that I haven’t been able to explore yet).

Thank you so much! Since Faunce is closed, I hope that the program has temporary “headquarters.” Let me know what you find out :)

Oh right, I forgot about Faunce being closed… I was thinking of Wayland when I read Faunce. And I’ll post as soon as I found out anything more.
