I don’t have a bank account and I’m not able to go to Davis on the 18th to get my financial aid check.

Is it possible for me to use my brother’s or parents’ bank account to do direct deposit and pay for my fall quarter fees?

Financial aid is closed on the weekends, so I thought I’d ask here.

Thanks in advance!

Financial aid checks are available on Sept. 22nd. For direct deposit, (directdeposit.ucdavis.edu) you only need Bank name, routing number, and account number. So I'm guessing they're not going to check whose account it actually is.

Oh yeah, and they automatically pay for your quarter fees with your financial aid so you don't have to worry about getting your financial aid money and then paying for your fees. If you have leftover financial aid, you'll get a check/directly deposit into your bank account.

Oh cool.

Thanks!

How do we tell if we have enough finaid to cover everything?

If your total balance is 0 or negative. If it's negative, there is left over money and you get to have it.

The total balance we have now will be the same each quarter?

Also, if I just filed a SHIP waiver, how long before I can see how much I owe now?

Thanks
