Bills are now posted on VIP

The bills are up on VIP. They do not send paper bills, so everything must be done online. You can access the bill through the VIP financial tab, and it will basically walk you through the process- especially if you have any financial aid to be applied to your bill. You must "apply" the fin. aid to your bill through VIP.
If you reserved books through the bookstore, you must have enough Carolina Cash on deposit to cover the estimated book costs before they will process the order. You can add the estimated book cost to the fall bill if you want,(it should automatically show up under optional fees if you have already reserved them online)... but there is some processing time from when you pay your bill for that part of the money to convert over to the Carolina Card, and that was confusing to us. We found that we preferred to just make a Carolina Card deposit directly a couple of weeks before move-in day. We deposited enough to cover the estimated book order and some spending money. That way, son's Carolina Cash money was immediately available for the snack machines, etc.
