Sorry about the misleading title, but "chance me" is too cliche. Well now that you're here you might as well tell me if I can get into Vanderbilt, Northwestern, the University of Michigan, USC, or Brown(I know it's a long shot)...

I'm going to be a senior this fall at a public suburban high school in Michigan, and I'm probably going to go to U of M or Michigan State (safety), but I would like to know if I should set my sights on some other more prestigious schools (not to say michigan isn't prestigious). I'm going into engineering: probably industrial, civil, or environmental. It would be nice to go to a more laid back school or one with a vibrant local atmosphere, so schools like Cornell are pretty much out of the question(Columbia is my first choice but I know I don't have a chance of getting in there). Btw, I know I don't have many extracurriculars, so yeah...

My stats:
Class rank- 5/471
GPA (unweighted): 4.0
ACT: 32 (English 34, Math 32, Reading 32, Science 29)

Ap classes:
Gov (11th) - 3
Physics B (11th) - 5
Physics C (12th)
Literature (12th)
Calculus (12th)

I've also been in a special Math/Science program since 9th grade. I guess it would be considered "honors." It's basically a separate school where all the smart high school kids in my school district go.

Extracurriculars:
Freshman Link Crew (only 11th lol)
NHS(only 12th lol)
Mu Alpha Theta (11th & 12th)
Ski Club (10th &11th maybe 12th, learned to snowboard in 10th grade and went on a few trips)
Community Service ( 80-100 hrs before I graduate) - this summer I'm volunteering at my county's food bank by sorting food and packing boxes, and I'm also going to be volunteering at a library. In the fall I might volunteer at a hospital, but colleges will probably think that I'm just trying to build my resume at the last moment ;)

Also, I'm probably going to need a good amount of financial aid to convince my parents to send me to an expensive private school as opposed to U of M at the in-state rate. Can anyone tell me if I could qualify for merit scholarships or just straight up financial aid? I know Vandy is pretty good with financial aid, but what about USC? Combined, my parents probably make about $80,000/year, but I'm an only child. As a side note, I'm filipino/italian, so idk if being asian will hurt me in the application process.
