Binghamton/Buffalo/StonyBrook Uni.s Chances?

<p>Just received my second SAT score and I wanted to give it a try..
I am a Junior who is interested in engineering/architecture as a major and it would be very great if anyone could chance me for these colleges.</p>

University of Buffalo
Stonybrook University </p>

<p>Ethnicity/Religious Affiliation:
Asian(Korean), Catholic</p>

<p>Academics:
SAT-1800(1st SAT) [510/680/610][CR/M/W]
SAT-1810(2nd SAT) [570/680/560][CR/M/W] I know I suck at taking tests..
SAT II-None, planning to take SAT II: Physics and US history at the end of Junior year.
TOP 25% of the class</p>

School Orchestra-(6th-9th)[Stopped orchestra after 9th grade and took all the PLTW(Engineering classes) courses that were available in my high school.]
Computer Club-(Starting from 9th)
Alter Service-(since middle school)
President's Volunteer Service Award (Silver, 9th grade) from KAYO (Korean American Youth Orchestra)
Volunteer Service at local Nursing Home(2 years)
Local Youth Center Basketball-(7/8th-10th)
Technology Honor Society</p>

<p>In addition, I am first generation legal immigrant from Korea and a twin as well.. So it is virtually impossible for my parents to fund both me and my brother at the same time.. Are these schools generous in terms of scholarships/grants?</p>

<p>You might be able to get into University at Buffalo and Stony Brook easily. You may even quality for a scholarship at Buffalo. Binghamton may be a bit tougher but still likely.</p>

<p>Am accepted for the 2017 class to Binghamton and Buffalo. Also was given a $5000 annual scholarship from UB for my academics. I had similar test scores. A 29 on the ACT. I was involved in sports and took a few more APs. I had a 3.9 GPA unweighted with courses like AP Chemistry, Pre-Calculus(enrolled in Calc BC), and AP World.
I applied Early Action to Binghamton and got accepted in December. Applied towards the end of December to UB and got accepted this week.

<p>All of those schools superscore the SAT so you really have an 1860 (570/680/610).</p>

<p>I think you have a very good chance of getting into Buffalo and Stony Brook and Binghamton might be a bit of a reach but you have a decent shot.</p>
