Binghamton for Philosophy

Hello everyone! I was admitted to Binghamton yesterday as a transfer for my junior year as a philosophy major from a community college in NYC. Is there anyone that can tell me something about Binghamton's philosophy department? There isn't much I can find on the internet about it. Anything helps, so thanks!

Hi, I’m a current philosophy major at Binghamton. The philosophy department is basically heavily focused on ethics, political philosophy, and philosophy of law. Most of the professors here work in these areas of philosophy. There are some which focus on Greek philosophy, continental philosophy, etc., but it’s usually only one for each of these subjects which isn’t ethics/politics/law.

There’s also the PPL (philosophy+politics+law) program, which closely related to the philosophy program, and (I think?) is more popular:

If you have any other questions feel free to ask me.
