I was accepted to Harpur this week and I’m considering the PPL (Philosophy, Politics, and Law) major. I was hoping someone can shed some insight as to what this major entails, how difficult it is, etc. In addition I’d like to know if it can be helpful/useful if I plan to attend law school.
Thanks in advance for the help.
It’s basically a blend of philosophy and poly sci classes. It has a reputation of being a less challenging major which I don’t necessarily think is true. It’s just that you have a bit of flexibility when it comes to picking classes and some people just pick the easy ones but this is true with many majors at harpur. A lot of people who want to go to law school major in PPL so you won’t be alone.
