For the UC's, it says to put a major and then put an alternate major.

So I put Biological Sciences for my major but none of the others really interest me that much YET. So I don't want to put something and actually get that and then be stuck with it.

So could I do:

Major: Bio sciences
Alt. Major: Undeclared?

Or will that look really stupid?

And also, Biological Science is a competitive major at UCI correct? So would it be harder for me to get in with that major if that's the case?

You're not tied to what you put down as your alternate major, so I'd say either go undeclared all the way or pick another bio-related major to stick in your alt.

Can you verify what I said in my 2nd post? Are my chances slimmer because of that?

If its a competitive major, your chances would probably be slimmer
