Bio major

To whoever has experience here:

What's the average workload of a bio major? If things don't go as planned such as not making it to med school, what usually happens? Where do they head of to?

I want to enter the Paramedic program at Stony if I feel I can't be going off to med school, but as a start I'm going to do bio.

When I applied, I applied as a International Studies (political science) major at the college of arts and science, how can i change it to bio major? (Yes, i've been accepted)

when does the mail with the financial aid offer come in?

Yes, you can change your major.

The biology major at Stony Brook is, in my opinion, of moderate intensity. Individuals with this background can find themselves working in a variety of professions. The degree also is an excellent precursor to medical school or related fields.

As long as you study, it is completely doable.

I was a biochemistry major, so many of my 200 level biology classes were the same which general biology majors take.
