i'm a freshmen who has enrolled in a bioengineering seminar. this isn't listed on the big list of freshmen and sophomore seminars on seminar website at Freshman & Sophomore Seminars at UC Berkeley. it's a one unit class, but would it be unwise to take this seminar? apart from not being on that list, the class has a class size of 265, so does that mean this is a difficult seminar that you would not recommend a freshman to take?

The reason it is not listed there is because it's a seminar for bioengineering students mostly.

i have no experience in bioengineering whatsoever. so would you not recommend that i take that seminar?

No, all you need to do in the seminars is to take the "magic word" home and submit it to bSpace. You don't have to know jack about bioengineering.

what do you mean by "magic word?"
