Bioengineering (Faculty of Eng.)

Hi everyone!

On the home page for the Faculty of Engineering, one of the programs listed is "Bioengineering", which is said "to begin in 2012-2013". I assume that means we should be able to apply for that program now, right? How come when I attempt to apply for the faculty on the McGill's application website. There's nothing under Faculty of Engineering besides the original seven engineering disciplines and school of architecture?

Am I missing the fact that the entry to program is determined later on or...?

And by the way, I'm talking about Bioengineering, which is not the same as bioresource engineering or biomedical engineering minor for that matter.

Thanks!

The program is pretty much ready to go, they just need the government to sign off on it and then it will be available. Until, apply to the faculty of engineering and wait for it to be available. You can declare you major as bioengineering your sophomore year since the first year for engineering is the same regardless of what major you are :)
