Bioengineering.

Sorry to post something similar to a previous post, but I've got a question about Stanford's school of engineering.

While looking at the view book, "bioengineering" is a possible major. However, when I posted something like that on this forum, somebody said Stanford doesn't have this major.

So, do they or do they not have this major?

I don't think there is an undergraduate Bioengineering major but Stanford does offer a Biomechanical engineering major as well as a Biomedical Computation option. As another alternative, you can also major in Computer Science and specialize in the Biocomputation track.

I believe there is a Graduate course in Bioengineering, which is probably what the viewbook was referring to. If you want to know more about the undergraduate majors in engineering and their requirements, go here: Stanford University School of Engineering Undergraduate Handbook
