Hello, DS loved our visit to Earlham. I have some questions re the biology program...especially the sequence to be a major. Is it necessary to take bio and chem, which both have labs, the 1st year?

Thanks ,

My daughter, a recent Earlham grad and bio major, says to plan on taking Eco Bio and possibly also Cells, Genes, Inheritance during the first year, and take the chem courses before junior year. She’s more of a field biologist but did end up taking intro chem and organic I & II. The content of CGI and Intro Chem compliment each other.
