<p>From what I hear, Bio is not offered as a major at LC. I know that for a fact. But are there Bio classes at LC?</p>
<p>Someone else could tell you better, but I believe all of the sciences except the most basic are at RH only.</p>
<p>I also think (but I’m not 100% certain) that all the biology classes are at RH. I don’t believe that LC has the lab facilities. But students can take classes on both campuses so a LC student can take bio at RH.</p>
<p>And pre med is at RH I believe. Its important for students and families to research online what is offered at each campus before they make an application. This is the nature of having two campuses. The problem is the common application just points out there are two choices and some people (not saying the OP) simply point and click without further examination (and often think the Bronx is bad and Lincoln Center is a better place. Not true.)</p>
<p>However, its not hard to take the RamVan across town to RH to pick up any biology or chemistry courses you might want to take for your professional goals etc. If you want PreMed you need to change campuses. Not to panic, however, because freshmen year is all core courses anyway.</p>
<p>^^^I don’t get the sense that it is a concern for the OP, but just for the record, I it appears that you do not need to be at RH for pre-med. Pre-med is not a major and you don’t have to be a science major to be pre-med. A pre-med student must just take a prescribed series of science classes (which are likely all at RH so a LC pre-med student must be willing to take classes on the RH campus). Virtually all pre-med students will start taking science in their freshman year. <p>^^^ I dunno about about that Happy. My kid knew many “pre-med” students at Fordham and all were at RH and all in fact lived together in special dorms (South). </p>
<p>Not sure what your point is however, since I never said it was absolutely only at RH, only I believed it was, and we both know that the laboratories are at Rose Hill. But whatever.</p>
<p>All my neighbors are physicians and surgeons. I know PreMed students start taking science classes as freshmen at Fordham. My daughter took two sciences classes as a Freshman as part of her core and she wasnt a science major. Even you stated you believed that all biology classes were at Rose Hill (but not certain.)</p>

<p>^^^Relax…I just wanted to add a comment to something mentioned in post #4 which was "And pre med is at RH I believe. " Now I do believe that most pre-meds are at RH and I personally believe that it is the better campus to be pre-med (some pre-meds live in the SLC community, but certainly not all – pre-meds are all over campus including a number who lived in Queens when my S was there), but I just wanted to make it clear that it appears possible to be pre-med at LC. That is all I wanted to say, nothing more, nothing less. I’ve done a lot of research on pre-med as my D is going that route (and we have be fortunate to be getting advice from a number of close relative and friends who are doctors). That is all I want to comment on this topic, particularly since the OP gave no indication that he/she was pre-med.</p>
