Biology E or M?

So i'm taking the biology SAT II in June and i need to know how should i choose which one (e or m) to take?! The books that i'm studying say that an equal number of people take both and the curves are also very similar.

In general, ecology is alot easier than molecular biology but i am planning to get a major in some form of molecular biology in college. should that affect which one i take? do colleges care?

Help!

Write whichever one you are better at. Your intended major doesn't matter.

i suggest you decide on the test day.
skim through the E and M section.
see which one seems easier.

Um I don't think you can skim the test and choose which section cause they made me choose before starting the Bio test. But then again, there is a possibility of going back to the section code and rewrite which one you like more.

Personally, I don't want to waste my time and skim the sections so I just chose before the test. I took the E section because on the practice books, I missed like 3 or 4 on the M section while I missed 1 or none on E.

you can.
they can't force you to choose before hand because both are considered the same "test"
you either know the material or you don't
so taking an hour to do the test is way too long.

this is my strategy
i usually finish all 100 questions with 20-15 minutes to spare.
ill look over the E and M section and mark the ones i don't have 100% certainty on.
once i go through it, i fill in the answer sheet with the section that i have more certainty on.

Go look over teh questions and do the section you seem more versed in.

you can sort of "cheat" and look through both questions and change the code on the answer sheet for E or M later.. but then you could lose valuable time... a few minutes maybe.. so idk.. i just went straight for M..

Where does plant/animal structure and function fall in the E vs M thing? That's the part that my AP Bio class never got to, so I'd like to avoid it...

time is not an issue -.- most questions are you know it or not. You really can't bs your way out of the wrong answers. It seemed a bit straight up to me...

That would be E, although there may be a few in the core questions.
M would be stuff like protein synthesis and DNA.
