What careers result from a Biology major?

check out the links at the Princeton Review.com. I visited the site today, and their info proved insightful and useful, though, I was disappointed by what the biologist do in their everyday jobs and the environmentalists' work was different from what I thought.

personally, i plan on going into environmental protection, then business.

im going bio and IR...so i get both worlds.

Plenty careers spring from a Biology B.A./B.S. degree. Clearly, a BS will qualify you for many entry- or intermediate level jobs that require some math or science.

On an advanced level, environmental consulting firms are starting up everywhere. While many of these companies are small-shop operations, they do significant (i.e. $$$) work. Be warned that an M.S. often is the minimum standard for such companies and for regulatory agencies.

The opportunities for a Ph.D holder speak for themselves; teaching, research, high-level consulting and executive/management government positions.

you can always go to medical school after.
But, what kind of Biology major are you thinking of? there are a lot of different segments of biology, with very different job options avaliable to each of them.
